Holy Trinity is a church with a vibrant, progressive, and diverse congregation. We come from many different racial, ethnic, socioeconomic, and spiritual backgrounds, and we are radically inclusive of all sexual orientations, genders, and gender identities. The LGBTQ community is well-represented in our church, with many members who are same-gender couples. We support and welcome all who have been marginalized and vulnerable in society. Our theology reflects the Lutheran emphasis on grace, and the necessary continuous progress and reformation of the church as it seeks to speak the gospel to our contemporary culture. We value the spirituality of Jews, Muslims, Buddhists, Native Americans, and others as we work to find justice and peace in the world.
We gather each Sunday to hear the word of God and to find meaning with one another, while we share the sacred meal of bread and wine and depart to serve the world around us. Our services include preaching of our struggles and our questions, while revering in the joy of life and taking part in worship that carries over into our everyday lives. We strive to create empowering relationships both in and outside of the church. You may have had good experiences, bad experiences, or no experience with the church and religion in your past.
